ok so what your looking at is a broken plastic piece that controls the doors to change the air from defroster to your feet and one other.

this moves 3 doors consecutively. anyways the actuator itself isnt working so iv ordered a replacement. but this little plastic bit is broken and i havent a clue what it originally looks like as its defiantly missing some more plastic that got lost at some point.

so im looking for some advice on fixing this issue or a picture of the broken piece? really any type of helpful input would be great as fixing this will solve half my climate control issues, (heater and AC dont work either blower motor works,compressor kicks on,accessory fan works,the condenser doesnt get cold at all but the SVT gets a tiny bit cold,no idea on Freon Lvl figured i would try and get it charged and see what happens )

Have you downloaded the FSM, is it auto climate control or manual control? Both door systems are in the FSM.

It is available in the forum here although I found one much easier to use on the net. You can actually go straight to the page you need.

You can also go to Courtesy Nissan and go through the parts diagram to find the exact name and part number.

The better FSM is an app called z32 service manual (Google app)

hmm i have looked through the service manual i swear i didnt see anything about the pieces hooked t the acuators i will have to check again..... i have both the pdf on my computer and that app which i guess are the same thing but the app is handy. but i will check all that again hopefully i can find a replacement or just a picture of what it looks like thanks for your input

also sorry about not mentioning but its the automatic climate control on a 93

Well the Service manual still as far as i can tell doesnt have any diagrams of the actuators. but it does talk a bit about replacing them and setting them..

but i found this thread fixing-no-heat-issue-is-z32-t290202.html which was able to give me some part numbers for the actuators which i searched courtesy nissan for with no luck but i was able to find another site (nissanpartsdeal.com anyone have any experience with them?) and diagrams and the parts/part numbers i need.

so as long as they can get me those parts all my air mix doors should be working.

then i guess its all up to me deciding if i should just hope the AC is fine (particularly the SVT because i have no idea if thats still functioning) pay some shop to recharge the R12 or if i should just convert the system to R134a (using the wiki directions), gut the SVT, and still hope it all works lol.....
