Hello! New to the forum and recently bought a 99 QX4 with 89k miles. Initially the climate control was working fine but one day it stuck on defrost only. My understanding is that it is most likely the “mode actuator” and I have verified that it is locked in the defrost position. The problem is I can’t find the part. I’m sure it’s available somewhere but where? Any ideas? Does anyone know the part number for the factory part or a less expensive aftermarket part? What is it called? Searching for “mode actuator” has yielded no results.

On another note the cruise control doesn’t engage and I believe it to be the two rubber plugs on the brake pedal assembly. Does anyone have any information on where to find those?
