Hi NICO friends, I just purchased my first Infiniti last week, a 2008 M35, and I have some questions about the climate control settings. When I start the car the climate control system is OFF. When I hit the AUTO button, the temperature for both driver and passenger is set to 75. I was under the impression that if I set the temperature to 70 that when I turn the car off and on again the system should remember what my last setting and when turned back on the climate control should be at 70. But, currently this is NOT the case. It seems no matter what the settings are when I turn off the car the settings always go back to 75 when I turn it back on. Is this expected behavior?

Welcome to the forum.

No, it should work as you think. There may be some troubleshooting steps in the factory service manual (FSM) that can be found in the FAQ thread in my signature.

Ok, thank you. I see the list of service manuals. I will poke around and see what I can find.

I know I say this a lot but check your battery. these cars are such electrical creatures. starting up takes the most drain on the battery. if there isn't enough amperage to run all the accessories, the starter will take priority and everything else will suffer and reset.
