Climate Control Acting Funny

I'm sure I'm not the first to have this issue with a Gen1 G35 sedan. The AC turns on by itself (usually when car is started) and the climate control won't allow any input to control blower motor, temp, or anything. Then the AC turns itself back off - either a few minutes later, or most times not at all.

I just want to know if this is something that someone has done a DIY on or should I just bite the bullet and haul it back in to the dealer?

i'm guessing you are also having problems with your cd? would not load? "cd err fo"? it's a common problem with 03's... get your radio fixed... both radio and a/c share a common circuit board...
