I recently bought a 89 s13 hatch, it had no motor and but already had the dash plug wired for the de and everything ready for a dual cam. So i dropped the motor hooked everything up and when i turn the key, the only thing im getting is just a clicking sound. It only clicks once when i turn the key. Has anyone else had this problem, or any ideas as to why this is happening? Thanks

The clicking is the starter solenoid, if its doing that 99.9% of the time the battery isn't providing enough power. If you know for a fact the battery is fine then there must be some unseen resitance, check your wires to it. Its possible the solenoid is bad but far more likely the starter just isn't getting enough juice.
