clicking when applying the brakes?

hey, I'm new to this forum, but i need a little bit of help/ advice...Recently my versa started to make a noticeable clicking noise when i applied the brakes in park. it happens maybe 1/5 of the way down the brake pedal. I think it might have something to do with a hard sudden brake that I just made, but I really hope that my car is ok.... Any suggestions?

Its normal noise, it means your Transmission is engaged and you can shift, try to do it without clicking, you wont be able to shift. I had the same thing, was thinking something broke.
