Hey guys i have this DE that supposedly has 26xxx miles that i got cheap. it runs decently but it has no balls at moderate to full throtle, what could cause this? i have new plugs wires cap rotor fuel filter and new 10-30w oil change. also when idling there is no clicking/tapping but when reved it starts clicking, but only when you rev when off the gas no noises.

like so (reeeeeevvvvCLICKINGGGGGGGGG decellllREEV Clicking decel) it clicks as you accel but once off the throttle the clicking stops.

i do not like these motors i have had 4 and all of them have been full of probs

Maybe the timing chain is rattling during load?

rings might be worn out and experiencing piston slap under load....could allso be valve shims worn down...ps..you may have had a few of these motors..but i bet they were all high milage ones..hence the reason they dint last..you might wana take a spare and rebuild it with factory crap in it and see what ya think then...good luck.
