These mirrors are designed to aim down once the car has been shifted into reverse. I normally have my switch in the middle to avoid the clicking sound that my side mirror makes once the car is put in reverse. Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this clicking or is this something the service dept will need to address.

The mirrors are probably not centered on the swivel. So when the swivel is motorized to face down, the swivel is hitting the stopping point but the mirror is still up.Just carefully and gently push on the center of the mirrors and listen for some sort of click.

I had this same problem.

It's in your memory (seat) settings. Go into your owners manual and read on how to change as to where you want your mirrors point when you put the car in reverse. It's all part of the memory seat buttons on your door.

Good luck with that.
