Today I was driving my car to p.t. I noticed that when i turned on the heater the rpms dropped really low. To about 500rpm to be exact. Usually when I turn it on it brings it up to 1000rpm. Well the car died when I was parking the car. I tried to crank it over and it wouldnt start. So pushed the gas peddle with my foot to give it a little help, that is when i heard a very strange clicking noise. I popped the hood pulled the throttle cable and the clicking noise seems to be coming from somewhere in the intake manifold. Anyone know what this can be? Oh yeah, I also cant rev while in neutral past 4000rpm. I know for sure it is not the maf sensor because I do not have one. I have a map sensor to let up any confusion about the maf sensor. Thanks for the help

Hmm. I would say maybe it's the Idle Air Control valve? or whatever that thing is. Mine makes noise once in a while. Especially when I unplug the coil and injectors to prime the oil after I change it.Worth a shot to check it out. I don't know what could be causing your car to not rev over 4k, unless it's in 5th gear and your hitting the rev limiter for 5th...?

Bah, I'm talking out of my ***.. haha
