clicking noise

i have a 95 240sx with about 110,000 miles on it. when ever i start to accerate or slow down i hear a clicking noise from my right rear wheel. it seems to be getting worse, anyone had this prob before? or know what it is?

At what speeds do you hear the noise?

i mostly hear it at low speeds but occationaly hear it at higher speeds

Since you hear it mostly at low speed it could be something as simple as a screw in the tire. First thing to do is just get under there and take a look. See if its anything obvious like something in the tire, or something loose around the wheel.

btw, how loud is it? Is it just loud enough to hear, or is it so loud its distracting?

its very noticible, its about the same volume of two drum sticks hitting each other. that is the only thing i can think of that it sounds like

does it increase in repetition in relation to speed or engine rpm? or is it constantly the same?

hey check the axles...normally when they go out they click... and since its rear wheel drive...you dont necissarilly have to turn to hear it...check the axles see if any boots are torn...then i would check the hubs...even the brakes...something may be hanging up... stay updated...i would like to know what the problem may be...
