alright well i just wanted to know whether this is normal or not normal

usually when i drive, theres a clicking sound, i think from the cat...sounds like it, it also does it when i turn the car off...is this normal for any car? it just seems more pronounced on my car

Not to sure about the noise when running, but the clicking sound when the car is off sounds more like heat sheild cooling and popping. This maybe the same noise you hear will the car is running. This is a normal sound but you may be able to reduce it by tightening or just removing the sheilds. They usually start rattling after awhile any way.
