If the clicking noise coincides with your driving down the street, look for a nail or the like in one of your tires. It might be something else, but that's a good place to start. Finding a nail before the tire goes flat will save you the cost of a new tire.

Is your G35 an all wheel drive version?

You could try going to a local tire place late in the afternoon 4-5 PM when they may not be busy. Ask them to inspect your tires on their lift for a possible nail. If they don't find anything they may not even charge you. just tip the guy a few bucks for the inspection

it might be your antilock brake system doing a check. if that's it than they all do it. usually after the car sits for a while and within 30 seconds or so of driving it will activate and make a clicking noise for a few seconds then stop. that may be it.

Its not gonna be your struts. Struts you would notice right away with a bouncy effect on the front end, especially when you go over any bumps, and you hear a clunk when its a bigger bump.

Clicking noise sounds like it is part of the steering, maybe a tie rod.

Can you be more specific...are you hearing it with the rotation of the tires?

Have you hit the tire on anything or maybe a pot hole?
