I am getting some random clicking sounds from my dash or knee area in an 18 Rogue I just purchased with 33k miles. I have searched and tried what I have found so far.

The clicking is similar to the turn signal clicking but much quieter.
Sound appears to be coming from the about where your knees would be.
The sound is not consistent. It can be 5 seconds or 15. It can click once or repeatedly.

Checked: Turned AC up, down, and off. Sound continued.
Checked: Rear wiper is off.
Didn't check: CV joint. Not applicable.

Having just come tested it before I posted this, I am starting to think it's the driver's seat. It's really hard to pinpoint except that it's in the front, driver side.

The gen2 Rogue seats are infamous for clicking noises from the lift mechanism, and sometimes also from the seat springs. The springs can be silenced by lifting the seat and spraying the attachment hooks with high-viscosity silicone, but a clickety lift mechanism isn't fixable. The seat frame has to be replaced.

Appreciate that, I haven't seen an answer regarding the seats until now!
