I am hoping someone can answer a question for me. I just bought a 2005 G35 coupe 5 days ago. I haven't gotten to drive it that much unfortunately, but today I took it out for a cruise and all of a sudden, everytime I would accelerate, shift gears, or even sometimes downshift, there would be a click noise right before and right after. Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this and if so any way to remedy the problem?

I'm having this issue too. Started a new thread then did a search (sorry battery was dying on laptop and didn't have time to search earlier).

The clicking sounds like it's coming from the driveshaft/diff. I can make the sound by being in gear with the clutch engaged and tapping on the throttle.

It almost sounds like the noise from a torque wrench. Unfortunately the rest of the drive train is so loud, I can't give much more detail.
