hey guys,
I was looking at a 2000 infiniti qx4 $3800 where i live,
the dealer said it's a wholesale car meaning as-is where is, and will most likely go to auction at a later date.

They said the 4x4 works but the light stays on,
I took it for a test drive and the truck won't always go into 4hi when u switch it, it usually goes into 4lo without problems
and back into 2wd without problems.

*also the 4wd light on the dash is stuck on, and the 4 wheel diagram/light does not light up*

I took it back and told them it was messed up and they said they would take a look and get back to me, my question is what could be wrong?

Any help is appreciated.

Fueler you posted that FSM section. Can you shed some light on this.
