clearn headlight lenses

hey I've noticed almost all 95-96 240s have alil dirty headlights.... and I've tried to find clear light housing but I've had no luck so far... anyone have any idea where I can find some or is there a way where I can take the cover off and clean them???

mother's polish, you just take them off and clean them.

yeah, word with daunt, only thing is its nail polish remover now, cant get that crap on the paint or else paint gets ****ed

the reason they look dirty is because the inside is dirty i think. So daunt was saying you have to take them off, so you can clean the inside. I think thats what gives it the yellowish color.

yes, bp2000 is right...take the bulbs and brackets and everything that can melt or ruin, then pop the housings in the oven for a few mins...dont remember the details...some1 else can probly help with this...and then u pull em out...pry em open but BE CAREFUL not to touch anything with that glue on the edges...cuz it will stick...for good...then u have about 20 mins to work with em, dry em, then put back together...then put a lot of pressure on it to seal it AIRTIGHT........................think thats it...

take nail polish remover... rub the outside of the lense with it... gently... and vola... just make sure you are very carefull and don't get any on the car... it will hurt your paint... have a great day... trust me on this.. I have a 95 and had them darn yellow lights... it didn't get it perfectly clear but it sure got them hella nice...
