Clearing s13 tails

Does anyone know how to clear s13 coupe tails.. ive seen it done but i dont know how to acually do it.. if people have any idea pls responddd.. here is were i acually seen it done...http://www.clearcorners.com/pr...cpsig/

You dont want to do it because when you clear them out, the housing becomes unsealed.

This means that you cant use it in wet conditions because the moisture will bead up inside the housing and look really nasty.I think you can get aftermarket ones from some guy who posted "would you buy these" or something.

Not if you want to keep them pretty...

You see when they assemble them at the factory, they are pressed together using heat. When they open the tails to clear them out, they snap the hard plastic seal and you would have to go though the same process to seal them again but with new parts.

I helped my friend do this to his subi:http://forums.nasioc.com/forum...ber=1 but I guess it doesn't work with s13 tails since the hard plastic snaps? How bout with the hatch tails?Step 15 is where we recaulked it using 3M strip caulk

personaly i think it looks better to tint your tail lights real dark and leave ur reverse lights white. i just did it last week. http://www.cardomain.com/id/s13wannabdrifter

only problem is the 240's taillight lenses are amber, not clear with an amber insert like the WRX. I opened a S14 zenki taillight last week. I was hoping to find an insert, but the lens is amber. I'm still trying to find a cheap way to clear them out...
