Would 7-spoke se rims clear 30mm brakes with the help of a spacer?

Yes, with the help of a spacer. But definitely not without one.

The 26mm brakes may clear without a spacer, depending on which 7 spoke wheel you have.http://www.sillbeer.com/s13sewheels.php

While we're on the subject:

Will a set of 17" wheels with a 42mm offset clear 30mm 300zx calipers on an S14? I don't know how wide the wheels are, but the tire size is 215/45/17. Thanks!!

Caliper clearance depends on the design of the spoke. So we'd need to know what kinda wheels they are. Unless they have a 'great' spoke design, I doubt they will clear with that offset.

Since the 26mm calipers clear the 'good' wheels, I'd say a 5mm spacer would allow the 30mm calipers to clear the good wheels.Sounds logical, but I dont know if its true...

Based on the 'rule' that 17x8 +35mm with 215/45 clears coilovers, the 17x7 +38mm shouldnt have a problem.

FYI, Sportmax's site only lists 17x7 with a +40mm offset.
