So I've cleaned my Zenki headlights several different ways that work very well. I have no questions on getting them clean. The thing I keep seeing though is the Florida sunlight is yellowing them over and over, and so goes my wetsanding/cleaning process.
In many of the searched posts I have read some people say to clearcoat them after they are clean and I'll have no more problems... Other people say this doesn't work and the plastic just yellows under the clearcoat. I could believe that, but want to hear someone with experience.
Have you clearcoated your Zenki lenses? Did they yellow or have any other negative effects? Did it help? How long have you had the clearcoat on them? Where do you live and how much light do they get on an average day?
I just wanted to clear this one up once and for all since everyone I talk to seems to have a different opinion on the option. I want to know what is correct to do before I mess mine up.
So no one who has clear coated their Zenki lenses can give me their input? I know there are a few of you out there... I want to hear how it has worked out/not worked out for you. I'm starting to doubt anyone has had any success but just wanted first hand experience.
