Well my factory CD player stopped working this past Sunday, so I've been driving quiet the past couple days. I noticed a slight sound coming from the front of my car. Sounds very much like something rubbing back and forth. I notice it at speeds of 15-45mph while driving on normal city roads. I peeked in my front fenders to see if possibly some of the plastic had come off and was rubbing the tires, when I saw this...

Are my wheels/tires rubbing against the stock spring seat? I've never heard of this before, only when using aftermarket coilovers. I was going to order some KTS coilovers next month, but if I can't even clear the stock suspension, how will I be able to clear aftermarket?

My front wheel/tire setup: 18x8.5 +24mm offset with 245/40/18 tires

Any input or help would be greatly appreciated.

with that offset and tire width most likely yes. temp fix is to get smaller width tires and stretch them.

Thanks for your input guys. If the KTS's don't clear, I'll probably just buy some 5-10mm spacers and pull the fenders.
