I think that I would be down. I would just like to see some detailed pics first. I thought the Clear Timing Cover for the 26 would already fit on the 20... I would be cool if you just took the stock piece and did a clear copy of it.

I'm sure it's just the upper. It's awesome that someone is finally making them for the 20 and 25.

If I ever upgrade to some of them perty adjustable cam gears.. I'd be interested in a clear cover to show them off.

$200 seems damn expensive to me. That thing would have to look stock and very nice to justify that kinda dough on just a dress up item for me.

Cool idea though. Sell it under $100 and I'd be interested. I'm a typical 240 owner ==> tight @ss

$200?! Isn't it just a piece of plastic? I don't think I'd go above $50. IMO, $200 can go a long ways towards performance. If you must see your timing gears and belt, just take the upper cover off, add washers behind the CAS to keep it from grinding, and you're set.

You comparing headlight, grill fenders, and a hood, and headlight brackets to a clear piece of plastic.....Maybe if it was 200 for the cover and a vented coil pack cover too

Ok... seems like there is some decent interest.

First the $200 shipped is a ball park price right now, it should be lower especially if more units are made.

Second the clear cover is a direct copy of the RB25 upper cover only. This means it has the hump to clear the intake cam gear. This same cover is also used on the RB20. It would be too expensive to make a seperate cover for the 20.

Also pics will be here shortly...

I bought my 240 wrecked for $1800.

You add the cost of my S15 conversion of $2,500 and you still have a cheap as hell 240 with only 68,000 miles.

I'm a tight @ss.

I'm interested, just not until I'm gainfully employed. I'd like to be able to display my sexy new bright blue timing belt.

My head is spotless and my oil looks like sweet maple syrup. I would rock clear valve covers. Maybe people would keep up with their oil services if they could see how cruddy it was in there.
