Ok, so I was wondering if anyone knows if a clear third brake light has been made for the factory spoiler. I have swapped my tail lights out for the clear and red aftermarket ones, and now my third brake light lens looks dowdy and faded compared to the new lights.

I'm pretty sure there isn't one available. You can do what I did and take the third brake light out and polish up the plastic lens really good with some 3M plastic cleaner/polish (you can get it at your local auto parts store). I used my dremel tool with a felt tip to really buff it up good. Mine looked really dull but now shines like new.

I thought about doing this. This is the best picture I can find at the moment. You can buy Lexan plastic from Home Depot and a 3rd brake light from junkyard, cut and modify. Lexan plastic looks something like this. You can use red bulb or LED after it's done. It's a small part, but can add subtle touch to vert. I think it'll look pretty sweet on white or black vert.

You could "frost" the Lexan by sanding one side...make sure you put this side on the inside...or you could just get a cheap flat clear tail light lens and just trace the old third brake light on it and cut it out. Then a little plastic welding/epoxy/glue and you have a clear third brake light. Your right, this would really look nice on a white or black vert.
