Guys
Have anyone tried to remove the red color off of tail light to make it transparent like many modern sports cars? Is it doable?
I could not find a clear aftermarket tail light covers
The other question in general, are tail lights coated with red color or the plastic is red ?

I believe the plastic itself is red. Also, moving this to the Y50 forum as you posted in the Y51 forum.

FUGA tail lights are clear. You can get them in normal or smoked versions.

Your user info shows you have a 2006 M35x, which is why I moved this to the Y50 forum. You didn't specify which car this was for in your post.

That being said, while I have seen those lights for Y50's, I do not believe there is a custom light of any kind for the Y51 at all. The Y51 has very little aftermarket.
