hey i was wondering if anybody knew if you could get the triple projector s-13 headlights that are clear at the edge instead of having that orange piece. i think i saw them once on the internet but i don't remember where. i would really like clear ones but i guess if they don't have them i would just get the regular ones. i would be happy either way, thanks :help

The silvia lights have the yellow side marker...its pretty easy to get rid of, but you have to take the lights apart:(.

Just wondering....

Am i the only one who likes amber in car lighting? I never understood why all this "clear cornering" was so appealing.

Good call, wings. Factory signals work just fine.

Anybody ever wonder why lighting and signals are such hot topics for discussion?? Perhaps all performance mods are already completed...?

Either way, 180maniac, there's a fella goes by TheMadScientist selling lights from his place there in Japan. Search in the buy/sell section for his posts... if I remember, his price was OK....and always better than throwing money away on ebay...

Agreed. I don't know where the clear corners thing started.

In my opinion, the yellow, orange, and red lights that come on all cars look very tacky . . kind of like a UNDER CONSTRUCTION sign or something. I would go with clear lights and some nice blue bulbs.

They're side markers...side markers! They are SUPPOSED to stand out. Like as in CAUTION BEOTCH I'M RIGHT HERE!

I would never ever put the amber turn signals back on my TA. It completely compliments the look of her.

I agree that some colours on cars jsut don't sit well with clear corners, I *hate* altezza taillights more than anything.

because in the dark, when you see red, you know you're ont he right side of the road...

and when you see white/amber you know your on the left/wrong side of the road...

lol thas my best guess

Gunna have to with our brake lights are red. Red means stop. We slow down when we brake and don't want people behind us to hit us so our red brake lights light up to warn them. Our turn signals on both the front and rear of the car are amber and normally denote some directional change. To sum things up - amber means "Watch the f*** out." Red means "Back the f*** off." ;)

Its actually illegal to change the color of the light bulb.. The lens is fine.. but your suppose to keep amber in front and red in back no matter what... Depends on what prick cop you have that tells you this.. But its written in black and white.. for all states..

Yup...thats one of the first things I read in the little DMV handbook we got. And actually, to be DOT approved, sidemarkers must reflect amber.
