I'm debating this.I'm currently have clear tails with red LED bulbs in them. After I saw black_nismo_240's vert, I'm thinking about LED tail lights, but not sure yet. They look better than I thought. What you guys think?

I got a free shipping discount code from 240sx motoring, so went ahead and bought a set. Not sure the code would work for other people. It's '123113'

I think you should definitely get it.mi didn't even know CS makes LED tails. I wish I knew earlier. I bought regular clear tails from them a while ago.

Are the turning signals and reverse lights also LED and is it plug and play?

Oh, so then nvm. There is a guy on Zilvia that makes LED tails, that includes signals, brake/standby lights and reverse lights for around $250.

Eh. I'm not a fan of the clear tails on a white vert. It ends up blending in too much with everything being so light. I think you should stay with your current tails as they look great against the color.

I currently have clear tail lights. LOL! I've had them since they came out.
I found some pics that show good comparisons.

There is a guy on Zilvia that charges $250 to LED tails if you send him yours. That includes break, reverse and turn signal lights. If you want I can send you a link. Looks better than these CS ones IMO.

Tail lights are in. Companies in the U.S. just got shipments from a manufacturer, so now is a good time to order a set. Coupon code that I posted doesn't work anymore btw. This is the company in Taiwan that makes almost all clear aftermarket lights.

I received the tail lights, but lens on the driver's side is not pressed in all the way. Passenger side looks good though. I contacted 240sxmotoring and they said they will contact Circuit Sports.

Again, completely out of stock as soon as they received a batch. I have to wait for 5 weeks.

Dang - guess I was lucky. I bench tested these CS lights last night. The brake LED's are very bright - no more weak hot spots. I have LED turn signal and LED reverse bulbs (you can't use towers - too tall) and am very happy with these lights now. Can't wait to finish painting / reassembly and then to let some slower people get a good look at them!

Finally received the tail lights and installed them. I'm pretty happy with the result.

Luckily, weather was hot, so tail lights came out easily. If you try to remove them during winter time, you have to use a heat gun. If it's really hot outside, it gets messy when you clean up.

Cleaned up the area.

Light at the bottom was $6.70 shipped on eBay. Actually, quality is not bad at all. I just hooked it up to dim light.

I've found a problem with these LED tail lights.
When dim lights are on at night, they blinks too when I turn on emergency lights.
I'm trying to resolve this issue with Circuit Sports.
Two other owners confirm that theirs work just fine.
Can you try yours if you have them on your vert?

I just tested mine - no problem with running light LED's blinking along with Hazards. Man, you have had some bad luck with these - I hope it is just a simple short or something. But they do look great!

I like these 100x better than having the whole housing stuffed with LED's like the Zilvia seller who was mentioned. Looks like a mess to me - these CS ones look period retrofit correct to my eye.

Thanks for checking yours. Circuit Sports will replace mine, so I will ship them out today. One of the guys called and said circuit board might be bad. It's third set I'm getting but at least they take care of me if there's an issue. I'm running out of Butyl rubber though.
