Clear Coupe Tail Lens - DIY

Ok...now...I did NOT do this, just something I read on the internet, but you could VERY easily build this machine and create a lense for our coupe tails that would be clear plastic...all we would need is a big ol' sheet of clear plastic and the following device:

Steps 1-10 are on a small scall, making a little toy car. Step 11 shows the large scale machine...and if you went through the process to take apart a tail...and made a clear one...I do not see why you couldn't substitute them out...best would be to make a mold of the inside of the tail in plaster and then vacumn to that.
