Hi everyone

I just purchased a Nissan Murano SL and I am wanting to get a clear Bra put on this vehicle.

How much did it cost to top hey one installed and do you like it or not.
The paint is near perfect on the front end and I want it to stay in that condition.

Thanks
Andy

Paid around $1500 to have the whole front end wrapped:
entire hood, front bumper including front quarter panel and mirrors.

I like it, its hardly noticeable unless you get up real close and see the ends of the film.
But my car is white and so I think it hides it well.

PROS:
- bug splatter comes off really easy with a damp microfiber towel and detail spray
- fine scratches can be fixed with a blow dryer/heat gun (pretty much all the current major brands of ppf can do this)

CONS:
-can't wash your car for about a week to a month?? until it is fully cured (differing opinions on the amount of time)
- dirt is very noticeable at the edge of the film, need to clean and detail your car carefully when at the edge of the film
- dirt can get caught up under the edge of the film and is very noticeable, only a problem if you didn't give the ppf enough time to cure, you are pushing up against the film while waxing/detailing the car, poor installation, etc.

I looked into paint protection after I had to get a new bumper and it was all perfect and unchipped -unpitted. The problem I ran into was cost. The PPE cost more than a paint job. I asked the body shop how much it would cost to paint a bumper cover than had paint wear and no collision damage. They estimated a quality paint job with labor to max out around $500 provided it wasn't a three stage or a weird bumper that requires headlights and front end disassembly to remove. All the PPE places around me wanted $800+. Couldn't justify spending $800 to protect $500 worth of paint.

That is a great observation but it isn't just the bumper it is the two front fenders and the good so it is way more than just the bumper.

I'm still up in the air on if I'm going to do it, like you guys said it it isn't cheap. I can get it done for $750 but it is difficult to poop out that money.

More on the fence than before.

It’s not just the out of pocket cost - it’s the time it takes for the car to be out of service getting prepped and painted. Doesn’t take nearly as much time to remove film and apply new film. I want to DRIVE my car...

$1,500 - front clip, mirrors, door cups, B-pillars. Recommend SunTek or Xpel only. Be sure to protect film with a quality topcoat.

I feel like I will be doing it only because I want the paint pertected.

I may have them do the entire hood of the vehicle.

Been using this company for years for my tint on all of my cars and they do a great job.

I love the Nissan/Infiniti blue
Looks great on your car.

Thanks for all the comments I really do appreciate it.

Andy
