Does anyone know of this product and does it look nice or cheap? Once a rock hits it a few times does it look bad? Will this ruin the paint if it gets old and you remove it?

If you get the clear bra, you need to do it right after you get the car. Applying it over a chipped bumper/hood is pointless.

I've seen them installed and they look fine. Be sure to go with a reputable company (3M) that comes with a long warranty. Some of the lesser known companies have caused yellowing and cracking.

One issue is that the paint under the clear bra will likely stay more brilliant than the rest of the paint which may make things off if you ever need to remove it.

If you have the money, a repaint of the front end would yield the best results. Infiniti paint is VERY soft.

I just pick up my 2008 G35x-Sport. Part of the negotiation for the price of the car, the Clear Bra was part of the deal. I got it for free. The dealer install it without any charge and hesitation. It is a must to have it since I live in NE

I have it on my 04. (the original owner had it installed at delivery) The only issue that I have come across, is that it is spotty. Looks like it is permantly water spotted. But from 5 ft you can't tell. The kit installed on my car, covers the bumper, first 18in or so of the hood, the first 6 in of the fenders, the mirrors, and the front lower arch of the rear wheel opening.

I remember a few months ago a member on here had his removed. The factory rep. removed it. Took almost 2 days. Here is the link:http://forums.g35club.org/zerothread/366557
