Is it okay to wax the clear bra, or is it just pointless? Otherwise, what's a good cleaner to use?

absolutely not, never wax it. It will fade it and give it a cloudy look. I use windex without ammonia on just that part of the car.

that's what I was thinking...

rule of thumb: if it's not paint, don't wax it.

Windex without ammonia...good idea.

I know ammonia isn't supposed to be used on window tint either.

Thanks for the help.

i don't really like to use windex w/o ammonia. there is this glass cleaner spray stuff at costco that works really well. i forgot what it's called but that works very well and you can use it on your dashboard and materials like that as well.

I have some stuff from Sam's Club called Invisiglass or something like that...probably the same stuff or similar.

Invisible Glass, by Stoner.

I watched them put mine on. . . I would have never got it straight. It looked like they had done it a thousand times but it looked a bit more difficult than it seems. Only problem is were you set it. . it sticks, so you better get it right the first time. They did an awesome job on mine. It was part of my deal with the car so I cant say I know how much the avg cost of it to put it on is. If you do it yourself find out as much about the installation first then apply it to the car.

I paid $600 for mine...covers about 1/3 of the hood, the backs of the mirrors, the fenders and the front bumper below the hood
