Clear 01 QX4 Fog Signals

So I took the orange lenses out of the turn signals in my fog lights. It doesn't look like much, but I guess that means it's how they should look.I replaced the white 7440 bulbs with silver coated amber bulbs. The silver coating drastically reduces light output, but not to the point where I'd return the bulbs or replace them.



Oh how I'd love to put some silverstar turn signals in there. I think they'd really (when not lit) compliment the high beam. Plus they don't sacrifice light output.Does anyone know if there are any other size wedge bulbs that will fit a 7440 socket?
