i just bought some Mothers aluminum polish to clean up my yellowish 96 zenki headlights. i've polished em, put some elbow grease into it, and they do look alot cleaner then they did before, BUT, it still looks a bit yellow, it's not as clear or clean as i've seen some other zenki headlights. do i have to pry it apart and clean the inside as well? or have my lights just plain gotten too much sun and there's nothing i can do about it until i buy new headlights?

p.s. the aluminum polish worked wonders on the stock wheels though.

I'm pretty sure the inside is not the yellowed part, its the outside. I'd avoid popping open my headlights unless absolutely necessary.

did you see the clearer lights in person or in pictures because if it is in pictures the flash on the camera often makes the lights look much clearer than they already are. did you use fingernail polish remover? the polish remover takes the yellow out real well but leaves behind a residue that you need the metal polish to remove.
