I know this seems trivial, but... I have 87 Pathfinder that has been sitting outside (Los Angeles weather) for about six years and I am ready to clean it up and sell it rather than junk it, because it would make a perfect rock climber for someone so I am trying to clean it up a bit and can't get clean the 6 years of grime and lime builtup from hosing the truck once a week and water drying on winshield, so any suggestion how I Make the windows clean and not milky hazy?

thanks

you can try the finest steel wool (0000 I think?)

It wont scratch the glass, but may work for you.

I think I've tried that long time ago on a window in our house and steel wool does scratch the glass, maybe the copper kind? Hmm, copper wool... maybe

thanks Chris, unless someone comes up with better solution I may just try that

If it's hard water stains, an mild acid will help. CLR is an option, diluted per the container.

thanks guys, I've tried white vinegar, it works but its hard work, lol... will try rubbing compound tomorrow, when I clean the body...

I washed the truck today and it looks like brand new fire engine red Pathfinder when its wet, gets the dull look when dry, so tomorrow is rubbing compound and wax on wax off day...
