I had a rb25 swapped in my car last year and since i have had it have working on little issue here and there trying to get it run right, a couple of the issue that i was trying to take care of was the overheating and clean up the wirer harness. Be fore i started working on my car, it started fine without any problems. Once i cleaned everything up and went to start the car everything worked as it should, but my starting wouldnt turn over, i checked the started by manually sending the signal, and turned over fine. I did it a few times and then thats when i ran into another problem with it not sarting but thats another problem. So far i checked the fuses, fuel pump, and the starter. I cant find my clutch switch and i have been looking for it for the last couple of days, can someone please help, i think its something simpe but i havent been working on cars to long to figure how to trouble shoot or what to look for. Thanks

Green white and green blue I think is for a trans sensor. Since it was running fine before, then you messed with something that was working. Is recommend going through ALL the wires going to the fuse box and all.the wires going to the dash. and when I say ” check” I'm talking make sure its getting the proper signal all the way from a to b. Do continuity tests on each wire and check voltage and grounds (continuity to chassis) on all wires you touched. You may be able to pull codes from your ecu to narrow down which circuit is problematic.

Thanks, for the help, so i started over again and fixed my wire problem. I did a double check of everything i've and corrected anything that missed the first time. When i say corrected i mean i used zip ties to clean up wires, adjusted hoses for better flow, and replaced few bad fuses. But mainly minor adjustments. I used starter fluid, and it started and died out and not start again. My fuel pump is working and I'm getting gas through all my lines. I know i said this before but my car was running fine till i took it a part.

So i finally go my car started and it sounds good until i press on the gas. the car sounds like it has launch control. the car is in neutral. before i took it apart i didnt have lunch control on my car. i dont know what the problem is but i will keep working on it.

the fuel line could be backward. i had to move my fuel pressure regulator and and my fuel filter. i don't know what my fuel prussure is cause i dont have a gauge to check.

well i think that i found out what my problem is now. i don't think that have my MAF hooked up right, i don't have the stock plug that the wire harness is supposed to come with so i have to plug the wires up one by one. i know there are two sources of power on the MAF.

What maf are you using? should be one power wire, 1 or 2 grounds, and a signal wire.

Sorry for not knowing which MAF im using, but what you said about the wires, i know about the the 2 ground, signal, and power wire, i don't know the colors for each wire. the color that i have are, black/white, orange/blue, white/blue, and black/gray dots. these are the wires coming from the harness.

i think for the MAF im using is from an R33. the sensor where i plug the wires into has five prongs. i seen that the z32 has six. on the side of the tubing that i have my sensor on, the guy wrote r33 on it.

i went over my MAF wrinig, if found out that i didnt have a good ground for and i mismatch some wires. i matched the wires up and join the two grounds. so i know that my power wire is getting power and the right voltage. but i dont know how to test my signal wire. when i tried to hook my maf up in the order i took it off my car. my car wont start. but when i dont have any wires hooked up my car starts fine and idles fine but it runs really rich. my house smells like gas. and i also still cant rev it without it sounding like have launch control.

Ok so, the black/white striped wire is your power wire, black wire is your chassis ground wire. The 2 wires I'm the shielding, my experience is that the orange wire is the signal wire and whatever is left in the shielding is the ecu ground. Also when fallowed to the maf plug, how is it wired up there?
