Well guys I'm in the mist of cleaning up my very first car, a 1989 240 sx Coupe 5 speed w/ 194,000 miles on it......

The interior is in serious need of a red devil vaccum and carpet/seat cleaners...

I want to clean out the engine bay and make the interior smell good (it has not been driven in about a year and needs a battery too, therefore it has a terrible stinch).

Anything in partcular you guys suggest for the engine (bay) cleaning that doesnt cost or require much...along with bringing the well kept interior back to life?

BTW as far as it being well kept I meant that it's in wonderful shape it's just all sooooo dirty....Any and all help would be appreciated.... Thanks :fruit

Simple Green works wonders for EVERYTHING!!!! Engine bay, interiors, you name it, it cleans it. You can find it at any auto parts store, or your nearest Wal-mart.

mean green is not simple green. I would not want to put mean green on my fabric. It would probly be ok on the engine bay. Simple green is not the same as mean green.
