Cleaning up a rattle can job- sanding?

Hey guys... just did my entire car in a krylon Satin black... it looks really sweet on smaller areas like the front and rear bumper, even the doors and front fenders... but like on the hood and rear quarter panels, theres lots of blotchiness, lines, etc. I tried applying more coats, but this didnt cover them up. Is there any method to do this, i.e. sanding? If so, how do I need to sand it... also, can I buff it out? Thanks, any help is super appreciated.... also, if sanding will work and not make it look like poo, what sandpaper do I need? Thanks.

what you need to do is get some really fine grit sandpaper..maybe like 800 grit..maybe finer, use a sanding block, and wet-sand the large areas. don't sand too much though or you'll end up having to repaint.

you might already know, but it's best to hold the can like 10-12 inches from the surface and do a bunch of real light coats.

Right, And my can was a far way away, had a lot of overspray actually, but the fact remains, it's still rattlecan ya know. I mean, it looks better than any Ive seen locally, not to brag, but Im just really OCD about things.
