Cleaning the valve cover?

My RB's valve cover has all kinds of jdm grime on it. I cleaned off the transmission and block with some steel-wool type stuff. However, I don't want to scratch up the valve cover, what's the best way to get her clean?

Go to an autobody supply store and get some "wax & grease remover"

Use the and a rag....done

or some parts cleaner....from the auto parts store.

You can also use CLR or do what I did and get access to a sand blaster.

guess it depends on how bad the grime is, i used ACEtone to clean mine up before having it powdercoated but mine weren't that dirty
