Anyone know what is the best product to use to clean soda off of the seats. Left a Monster Energy Drink in the car overnight and it exploded all over. I don't want to make it worse by using the wrong product.

For sugar, wax, gum, etc... Use a steam cleaner and immediately vacuum thoroughly to remove as much moisture as possible. Try to leave windows open for several hours after. Bissel makes a great steam cleaner that has a built-in vacuum for around $100. I intend to clean all my upholstery this spring with one of those...

The foam shampoos you see at auto parts stores work well, but they leave a residue in the upholstery indefinitely. Almost impossible to remove without a steam cleaner. But they do work when vacuumed afterwards.

If you go for the shampoo, I recommend Blue Coral carpet cleaner, or TurtleWax shampoo in the GREEN can. The RED can leaves a very obnoxious odor in the car after a few days.

Hi!!

This winter I had a 12 can pack of Pepsi explode in my trunk of my Z24.

I tried Turtle Wax seat and carpet cleaner. It's a foam you spray and let stand 30 minutes and vaccuum afterwards. Seriously I was amazed how well it worked.

Did an awesome and clean job.

Definitely go with what BBISHOPPCM said. Use the steam clean method, try to avoid using shampoo, but if you do, use a small amount. DO NOT use anything like Oxyclean, Resolve or Spot Shot. That will brighten the colors of the fabric and leave bleach like stains. When finished cleaning the seats, leave the windows cracked for 24 hours so it can completely dry to the touch.

I actually work for Stanley Steemer part time, so I know what I'm talking about.

Thanks for the responses, I am borrowing mom-in laws steam cleaner and giving it a shot. I'll post how it turns out, again thanks.
