Would like to know how to remove the stock seat covers so can I can clean them. I see a black slide strip on the bottom of the back side, but there are no zippers or anything else that would make them easy to remove. Any clues? Thanks for any help.

stock seat cover? cause if its a seat COVER then there are zippers or whatever to take it off.

and why in the world would you ask a question like this? its stupid. seriously. just look at the damn seat. if you have seat covers or not. if you have them, take'em off and put'em in the washing machine.

Punk, what I'm trying to find out is if it's possible to remove the cloth from the stock seat so I don't have to wait while the padding dries if I shampoo them. Suppose it's not technically a cover in that no, it was not bought aftermarket and put over the seats themselves, but it does cover the padding underneath. The same as if you wanted to clean a chair in your house but don't have a steam cleaner to do so. So, if you don't know the answer, then don't bother replying.

i dont know about your seats, but mine have 2 zippers down the back and brass clips to hold the cover on. on mine, it appears that if you were to take out the little clips, the cover would come right off. again, thats on my 90 seats, not sure if yours are the same or not but i thought id share this.

there not really clips, just for lack of a better word.the are more like little pieces of metal bent into circles. they are on the bottom back, were the zipers go into the seat.

i know in the s13's there are zippers on the seat backs and the bottoms are hog clipped on underneath the seat. you need to take the seats out, and disassemble them (rails from the bottom, and the seat back from the seat bottom) to get the covers off.

im pretty sure that there is an adhesive holding the cloth to the foam as well. take your time taking them off so you dont tear the hell out of the foam. when you go to put them back on, you can pick up the 3m headliner adhesive spray to get the cloth to stick back onto the foam again.

i have been thinking doing this as i have the wrinkles in my seat from shampooing, and it really irks me...
