Cleaning Spark Plug Wells

How do ya'all do this? I don't have a compressor, and REALLY don't want to change the plugs with all of the crap that is nesting at the bottom of the wells. Suggestions?

Go to a gas station. Park next to the air hose. Pop the hood. Press the check valve on the end of the hose. Air comes out. Use said air to clean the area around the plugs. Might take a couple minutes.
