Hey guys,

Any of you know how to clean off the 'soot' on the rear bumper from the tail pipes? It doesn't look bad in this picture but in real life it's noticeably dark there. I think I'm going to eventually have the rear area painted gloss black but for now I'd like to clean it up.

I just use Turtle brand polishing compound on a rag and it works perfectly and very quickly. Brasso if I really want a deep shine.

*Edit... Just realized you were talking about the diffuser area. I 2nd the clay bar, def works very well. The polishing compound works great for that as well but be careful not to get a compound that is too abrasive.
