Hi all, doing the annual fluid exchanges this week, completed diff with red line, trans with mobil 1 and filter change, oil with red line, steering with mobil 1,brakes with valvoline, and coolant with havoline long life&distilled water. How do you get to all the leaves and junk that builds up between the radiator and condenser? seems too narrow to shove shop vac. in there? also, how does all this junk get there in the first place, seems pretty well sealed for all those giant leaves to call home to?Finally, does anyone use a chemical cleaner on the fins to remove dirt and anything coating the metal? thanks for your help, looking to keep the q till at least 300k,115,000 currently and at this point,do not know of any newer car that I would rather drive, including the 2002-2003 q.the 90-96 are just soo special, and nothing newer seems to have their special something that if you dont own one,is impossible to explain.

Too bad you already replaced coolant. Easiest way is to remove the radiator. What you can try is to remove the 2 metal clips at the top of the radiator, and just push the rad back toward the fan. If the upper radiator hose is too stiff, then it needs to be replaced anyway, and you might as well drain and flush, and remove the rad in the process. Also, there is a "cleaning wand" made by a company called Thexton that works really well on the small debris for back-spraying through the condenser and radiator. Screws right onto a standard garden hose fitting. I'd spray the radiator down with Simple Green, let it sit for few minutes, and then wash off.
