cleaning intercooler

I just bought an intercooler that is about a year old and i was wondering what is the best way to make it clean again? thanks in advance

Simple Green and a pressure washer

Second on the simple green. It cleans anything and everything. And if it doesn't clean it, just whip out the muriatic acid

don't power wash the fins because they will bend. Any kind of degreaser should work.

yea i was gonna say carb / brake cleaner. or paint stripper?

I wouldnt use a paint stripper on anything aluminum. Some of them eat at the metal. I would use some Naval Jelly. You can get it at any hardware store.

I put a bunch of brake cleaner in my sidemount when I got it and swirled it around in there then washed it out with water.

parts washihng solvent, its a lot cheaper and works just as good if not better
