Searched and can't seem to find the thread.

Well if I remember you spray them with brake cleaner and then soak them in Redline then let me sit and dry?

For the O-rings top and bottom you put regular motor oil?or WD-40 then slide the injector in?

Let me know trying to put the in the rails.Thanks.

You can soak them in Redline S1, Use only a little and put the rest in the tank after you change the oil.

Use brake parts cleaner before you put the O-rings on.

Let them dry after cleaning with both cleaners and make sure they are completely dry.

You can use oil or Vaseline like Mike has suggested, Use either one very liberally.

when installing the injectors fill the rail with some Vaseline then put some on the injector and push straight down gently.

I need to buy some Vaseline then.So if I'm correct get a little bowl soak them in one by one let it dry then lube up the o-rings with oil or vaseline then put the o-rings and soak the whole rail in Vaseline?

Or soak the whole rail in Vaseline then rub the o-rings push them in?Then before putting injectors in spray brake cleaner let dry and put some vaseline on?

I have trouble understanding.I think you already know lol.

Right, but don't put so much that it squirts out when you push the injectors in.

I would use motor oil instead of Vaseline. Later FSMs recommend that, and it worked very nicely for me. As an added bonus, it's a lubricant that's "native" to the engine bay.

Both motor oil and vaseline are petroleum products and either will work fine if used properly. I'm partial to grease since it's what we use at work to seat orings. Our vehicles have gone billions of miles without leaking whereas the lowly Q will be lucky to make it 300,000 miles without having oring problems.

What's important is that your petroleum-based lubricant is:> put on the injector oring grooves before the orings go on, and> slobbered on the orings themselves prior to installing them on the injector, and> applied liberally to the inside surface of the cup on the fuel rail. The cup should be thoroughly cleaned with a solvent (gas?) prior to lubing it up.

If everything is lubricated properly and the fuel injector is aligned straight in the cup opening before pressing it in there should be no leakage. If the orings are underlubricated or if the cup is dry or dirty you risk the chance of nicking orings or not having them seat properly.

So any idea if the light red/orange fluid that dripped out the injectors when I was spraying them any good?
