I remember reading a writeup on pulling a hose or unscrewing something to spray carb cleaner into, to clean out the IACV, instead of taking it off, but I can't seem to find anything under recent or archived threads. Anybody know how to do this?

Thanks!

spraying into the hose from the intake piping to the iacv isn't the most effective way, I've discovered. To get the best clean it should be removed and cleaned.

It is not a sensor. The idle air control valve allows air to bypass the throttle plate when it is closed to regulate enough air for the engine to idle

there are some threads on this in past couple days. it was easy for me to remove mine on my 1991 240sx. lots of things cause hesitation , though.
