Removed/cleaned aiv yesterday. Idle still horrible. IACV is up today. The tube in the middle of the picture (The right of the 2) is the one I spray the carb cleaner into, correct? I know this is a commonly asked question, and I searched and read up on it, but I just want to be sure.

The iacv is at the back of the engine. Are you going to drill hole in hose and spray while engine running? I guess it is worth a try. I think people do this with the hose near the firewall inches from iacv unit. iacv is held on with 4 10 mm bolts which are pretty easy to remove from top. if you have any mechanical aptitude, it makes sense to remove and clean iacv. I'll try to find a picture that illustrates the hose at back.

this is the hose at the front. this hose is delivering filtered air to iacv and air regulator. the hose at back is connected to this hose.
