I know this topic is posted ALOT but alot of members also knew my headlights were BAD. Alot of you gave me good suggestions but i went to my friend's hosue while his dad was cleaning his lights, and he showed me what he was using, it was was coming out GREAT! So i bought my own bottle. It required very little scrubbing hard, but the harder you scrub the better it comes out. The stuff is called "Orange Blast" i forgot the price but its not that bad seeing you can use it on everything including stains in your interrior and even the plastics. i practally cleaned out my whole car with this. here is a before and after pic of the headlights

if i were you i would just pick up a bottle and give it a shot, its good all around cleaning for everything in your car, even the tires and engine

it doesn't look half bad at all. I might try that on my door panels.

Altiman94- i would suggest it for your door... i dont have a old pic, but the plastic was dirty and the doorcarpet was stained..

here is a pic of it now.

and sorry again i dont have a pic of the floor b4 i cleaned it up ( i was ashamed to becuase it was discusting ) but ehre is one after just using a vac and the Orange Blast...

it came out damn good for only a 30mins clean up, that includes the headlights :) im very proud of it, and for having the car for 1 month, i would never let my mother see the inside because how bad it looked, i will proudly show her my car now :)

What works the best to clear headlights is chrome polish, such as simichrome (sold at harley dealers), mothers chrome polish or turtle wax chrome polish. These work the best on plastic, even the eastwood catalog recommends using it with a buffing wheel it looks better than new. I am a professional detailer and these work the best for me!

wow sounds good to me. i used the 50 step procces a couple months back and it got rid of the yellow nicely but i dont think i scrubed hard enough to get the residue left over from the nail polish off. ur way looks much simpler, ill have to try.

I have used Eagle One's Nevr Dull on my Altimas headlamps. It works wonders and you dont even have to scrub that hard. Just wipe on (sometimes you have to scrub though) and then wait for it to dry for a minute... then buff off with a clean terry cloth.

if u want to take the actual plastic cover off its kinda hard cause its held on with adhesive. if u must do it ive heard of people that place the whole assembly in an oven and wait for the adhesive to heat up so the cover will come off. its not worth doing tho cuz unless someone decided to take ur light bulbs out and put dirt or sumthing like that in ur headlight covers they shouldnt be dirty on the inside.

I didn't even know this thread was still around...

anyways, the headlights are still clear, gettin a lil bit fogged now but hell, just scrub again i guess

95ka24de- i would just do what i did, read up a lil bit in this thread and you will see how to get them off, but its much a pain, just scrub really hard and it will come out like glass.

light removal for a 95': take off the two plastic scres holding in the grill, then remove the grill. remove the two screws holding each light in behind the grill. unsrew the screw on the light fixture near the fender. then you have to remove the parking lights which can be a little tricky so take a flashlight and look inbetween the parking light and headlight so you can see how the parking light is attached to the head light fixture. removing the parking light incorrectly can cause the part that holds it in to break (i have done this) but nothing a little super glue cant fix. once the parking lights are out all u have to do is remove the light bulbs from the head lights and they come right out.
