cleaning coilovers

i have a set of jic flt-a2's installed, i notice they get some dirt splashed onto them as expected, i was wondering if spraying them with a hose and wiping them down is a good idea.

is there some type of dust boot i could add to these coilovers without it getting caught up in something? thanks for any help.

try usin a silicone spray clearner like MOTUL's silicon-clean. it will help prevent any rust, and keep the threads nice and smooth for ya.-chet
