Cleaning brass on the EGR, Throttle Body...

For quite some time I have tried to clean the brass in my Q's engine bay. I have tried that Eagle One Never Dull (Autopia's (The real one) Favorite), But that has done nothing.

I wont rest till my Throttle Body (TB) looks this good:



Any suggestions please?

Yeah between brake parts cleaner and tb/carb cleaner I've always got it looking really nice

I dont think its brass... take all those pieces off and have them re-coated in zinc. Here is a cool diy site on zinc coating. http://www.nulltime.com/zincplating/index.html

I tried the stuff Owner CS and Wes suggested but this stuff refuses to come off.

1st off,,is it off your car? if yes, ok..if not, take it off.......NOW, try more cans of tb..i mean like 4..and spray it on close and thoroughly...concentrate more on the gap than anything else..any build-up there can cause minor issues. PLENTY of cotton swabs and SOFT rags....and ive found recent success with seafoam deep creep,,,someone on here put me on to it and the s*** works. cleaned me up well during a recent plenum job. oh and elbow grease. if you still cant get it off, ask your little sister and hit the gym

ps,,,, check that egr port (on the manifold) it is probably dirtier than a tijuana hooker..or i suppose any hooker for that matter...
