Cleaning Behind the Instrument Panel Lens

I just purchased a 2010 Versa Sedan. The issue I'm having is that the instrument panel lens is dirty on the inside. It looks like someone sprayed a cleaner on the outside of the lens and some dripped down the inside of it. You can't tell at night but it looks terrible during the day. Has anyone taken their dash apart enough to be able to get to the instrument cluster? I'm thinking of tackling it this weekend and any tips or tricks would be welcome.

I have heard that they are a pain. I haven't done it yet
