Those BBS wheels look great, but they're a PITA to clean. What do you guys use? I've used a spray on stuff, but it still requires cleaning with a toothbrush (yes an old one) to get them clean.

Thanks,

I use the toothbrush method too. Except that I use my wife's toothbrush . Shame on me for even saying that .

Is there some kind of nylon bristle brush attachment you can use in a drill?

Maybe make something out of a few old tooth brushes??

Toothbrush with mild soap/hot water solution and a lot of frenetic action from all possible angles.

If you use a wheel cleaner, know it will mess with any cadmium plating on your hubs or disc rotor hats, and may break the clear seal if you get the wrong kind.

I used a $3 Eagle One wheel cleaner brush (duh) from PepBoys...

Has a handle and some soft bristles on a large wire loop (that you can bend as needed).

Think i still have it laying around, no need for it anymore.

Wheel wax. I have a friend who is seriously into polishing his BMW, I borrowed his. The BBS stay cleaner a little longer and the brake dust scrubs off with less work. Still, it gets down to "frenetic action" and some kind of brush.
